Where to Turn in Time of Need

Dr. Charles Stanley teaches that times of need are inevitable, but the most important decision we make in those moments is where we turn for help. Rather than relying on people, resources, or our own strength—which are limited and temporary—God invites believers to come to Him first, because He alone is faithful, all-powerful, and fully aware of every need before it is spoken. Fear, guilt, pride, or impatience may keep us from seeking God, but obedience and trust open the door to His provision, wisdom, and strength. Ultimately, seasons of need are not meant to push us away from God but to draw us closer, deepen our faith, and teach us wholehearted dependence on Him.
